INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT A HK-BASED HEDGE FUND
Organization: LIM Advisors, an Asia-dedicated multi-strategy hedge fund based in Hong Kong, is looking to hire a Korean-speaking intern to join its investments team. The company was founded in 1995, currently manages more than US$ 1.8 billion in AUM, and has a total of approximately 60 staff operating in its Hong Kong headquarters as well as additional offices in Tokyo, Beijing, London, and New York.
Job Description: Korea Investments Analyst Intern will be working closely with the Portfolio Manager and the investment team to monitor, analyze and recommend investment ideas/actions. Daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, financial modeling, attending meetings/participating in conference calls with management of existing and potential portfolio companies, research analysts, consultants, etc.
Qualifications: Candidate must be a resourceful self-starter who is exceptionally intelligent and motivated with an ability to manage multiple projects. We look for candidates with genuine interest in investing in public and private market as well as desire to learn. Fluency in English and Korean is required and relevant previous experience is preferred.
Minimum of 8 weeks of commitment in Hong Kong will be required with flexibility on start date.
There is no specific deadline to application as we will evaluate candidates on a on-going basis. Travel expenses to Hong Kong and housing during the internship will be provided.
