Job Title: Chemical Engineer Intern
Mission : PCC (Product Creation Center)/Factory based technical facilitator focusing on product readiness and process improvement through process validation and confirmation to assure performance, quality, craftsmanship and manufacturing efficiency meet category and consumer expectation from Brief to Box.
Accountability
1 Product and Process Excellence (40%)
· Understand and actively monitor/utilize category best practices and chemical standards
· Support local and global chemical engineering initiatives and strategic goals
· Coordinate and execute new chemical process introduction, trials and validation to support project goals and timelines
· Provide feedback to the DCE (Director Chemical Engineering) on PCC team functional engineering performance
2. Communication/Coaching & Mentoring (20%)
· Facilitate open communication with global Chemical Engineering team
· Collaborate with NIKE and PCC/factory teams on creative problem solving based on the direction from DCE
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or Senior grade in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or other chemical related engineering
· Ability to design and conduct research and development experiments
· Good English skill in written and verbal
· Good Skill in Microsoft Office
