The Oracle Graduate Development Program is a combination of structured development programs on soft skills and functional competencies via various delivery formats. Graduates are also expected to work in a team environment and complete multiple projects addressing real business challenges and at the time gaining a broad business understanding.
Business Development Consultant (BDC)
Business Development Consultant (BDC) is the biggest gateway into a sales career at Oracle, the most respected and successful enterprise Technology Company in the world.
BDCs nurture and maintain successful relationships with Oracle customers. This is a sales “hunting” role and includes engagements companies and organizations of all sizes, complexities and needs. You will work with key internal stakeholders and groups - including sales & product managers, industry sales directors, marketing and partner sales. You would be responsible for identifying, uncovering and qualifying opportunities to support sales account strategies and solution based growth.
Successful candidates will be executing effective sales campaigns at specific customer and prospect audiences. Ultimately BDCs are responsible for a significant proportion of the pipeline development for sales.
We expect all BDCs in 1.5 to 2 years to progress into inside sales after demonstrating solid development and results in hunting, solution knowledge, sales skills and customer engagement (C-Level, LOBs, etc.). There is a clear career progression plan into Inside Sales (OracleDirect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iathEHfsIFY) and ultimately into highly regarded and sought after field sales roles.
This role is primarily phone and internet-based, you must be comfortable with cold-calling and work with customers to understand and meet their needs to achieving pipeline generation targets. Successful candidates typically are highly motivated and ambitious individuals who wish to launch successful careers into enterprise technology sales.

Phase 6: Successful candidates will start the Oracle Graduate Program in February 2016

Selection Criteria
The Graduate Program is open to Korean residents or citizens who are either in the final year of their undergraduate studies (finishing all course requirements by December 2015) or have graduated in 2014 with less than 18 months professional experience. Our program is open to students from all disciplines who are interested in IT and solution sales.
