5. 채용 포지션 소개: IT Application Service Specialist

 

Job Purpose:

This role owns the performance, operations and continuous improvement of an application or group of applications within a portfolio and manages the full lifecycle while in production. An ongoing commitment to improve the user experience, lower the cost of ownership and balancing risk is required for each application. This requires a balance of business process understanding and technical breadth.

 

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensures continuity of business execution through ensuring production applications are fit for purpose, cost effective, and meet an agreed risk profile

2. Provides the linkage of technology and business process understanding to quickly restore service, including the creation of facile and creative workarounds, as necessary across 2-3 business processes/services and associated applications (5-15+ applications), supporting large user populations, across multiple business units/geographies), or support business critical processes.

3. Participates in troubleshooting in applications across multiple technology domains and business areas.

4. Ensures accurate and easy processes are followed to ensure ongoing continuity of knowledge including application dependencies (across applications, hardware)

5. Diagnosing problems, developing options and implementing solutions.

6. Support interfaces to other key systems and instruments.

7. Working directly for the Regional Service Manager, assist in training and development of staff within Global support team including offshore support analysts.

8. Work with CCIT business partner, key users, their managers, and business community to understand process in order to develop solutions.

9. Ensure that local Application Service resourcing and projects are constantly aligned with Commercial IT

 

Specialist Knowledge:

Desirable skills:

- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

- Knowledge of ITIL working practices

- Experience of Microsoft SQL transaction command

- Experience of Microsoft DOS Batch command

- Experience of iPad iOS , AS400, Visual Basic 6.0

 

Essential skills:

- Experience in supporting complex global IT solutions

- Experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

- Programming experience e.g. Java, ASP

- Experience in handling database e.g. Oracle 11g up, MS SQL 2005 above

- Operating System Administration - e.g. Windows 2003, Windows 2012

 

Requirement:

- Bachelor of Computer science, Business Administration or equivalent

- Strong overall understanding of IT platforms, technologies and solutions

- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of business and IT management

- Fluency in both written and spoken English
