AMCHAM Korea is now accepting resumes for
1. Communications Intern (from Feb. 25th to May 29th, 2015)
The Communications Department is responsible for promoting awareness of the activities of the Chamber and our members through effective communication of our mission and work to media and general public in Korea. Key functions include developing publicity plan for major events, coordinating interviews, drafting and distributing press releases, and managing media database. The Department is also responsible for managing the production of all AMCHAM publications, as well as producing and publishing content for the organization's website and social media. AMCHAM publications include the Journal, an issues-oriented, quarterly magazine; the annual Membership Directory; and other publications on a project basis. Interns in this department are asked to research and present findings on current issues related to international business as well as contribute ideas and editorial support to AMCHAM publications. / Strong writing, editing and communication skills both in English and Korean
2. Programs intern (from Feb. 24th to June 26th, 2015)
The Programs Department works on planning, managing and executing Chamber’s main business-oriented events and activities. (e.g. business committee meetings, seminars, forums, events, etc.)
The Interns of the Programs Department will assist the Program & Communications Manager by conducting research to collect and report key information for various projects in a timely and organized manner. Interns will also have opportunities to attend meetings, seminars, forums and events, and help with organizing and running such events.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and Korean). University/Graduate school student (or recent graduates)
- Detail-oriented, professional, responsible
- Strong written & spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
- Advanced computer literacy (Photoshop, SNS, Website Maintenance etc.)
