1. Marketing Intern
(from December 15th to March 6th, 2015)
The Marketing Department is the revenue-generating engine of AMCHAM and is responsible for coordinating all AMCHAM meetings and events. AMCHAM's main functions include meetings such as monthly General Membership Meetings (GMMs), industry-specific Committee Meetings and annual industry seminars. In addition, the department organizes a number of social events throughout the year, including Networking Night, the annual Inaugural Ball, Labor Day Picnic and Holiday Open House. Specific tasks include promoting member companies through AMCHAM publications and using various marketing strategies to market sponsors’ brand and product to the business community.
2. Programs intern
(from December 15th to Feb. 27th, 2015)
The Programs Department works on planning, managing and executing Chamber’s main business-oriented events and activities. (e.g. business committee meetings, seminars, forums, events, etc.)
The Interns of the Programs Department will assist the Program & Communications Manager by conducting research to collect and report key information for various projects in a timely and organized manner. Interns will also have opportunities to attend meetings, seminars, forums and events, and help with organizing and running such events.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and Korean). University/Graduate school student (or recent graduates)
- Detail-oriented, professional, responsible
- Strong written & spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong power point & excel skills, research experience preferred
- Design/Editing skills preferred (Adobe Photoshop/Premiere/After Effects, etc.)
