Description :
We are looking for a professional with 1-2+ years of financial services experience within ETD or Cash Equity Operations (preferred, but not required).
Group Operations, within the Corporate Centre division of UBS, aspires to become the premier provider of operational services within the financial industry. To achieve its vision, Group Operations has set a mission based on the five key pillars of client focus, people, risk, efficiency and transformation.
Within Group Operation, the Core Banking Function is comprised of ten service lines providing global services to the UBS Group: Operational Accounting, Reconciliations, AML Transaction Monitoring, Financial Messaging, Records Management, Capturing & Scanning and Output Management, Instrument Data Management, Reference Data Management and Regulatory Transaction Reporting. This role will report into the Core Banking Change team, supporting the Reference Data Management Service Line.
Requirements :
• Ability to think strategically and assimilate and integrate multiple high level business, operational and technical concepts
• Strong analytical skills. The ability to review, map, gap and enhance processes
• Strong appreciation of the front to back change lifecycle.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodology
• Knowledge of client data functions, hierarchies and regulatory environment would be beneficial
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels
• Ability to positively challenge the status quo and change proposals, as well as help drive the change agenda
• Well organized, methodical with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple initiatives at the same time
• Ability to work equally well independently or as part of a dynamic team structure
• Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with Visio would be beneficial
• Self-motivated and passionate achievers who like to grow and stretch themselves
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Korean
